Sump Or Cooling Tower Basin Sweeping Systemcsr-250-251-lh

A standard Griswold Separator System uses an end suction centrifugal pump. When flooded-suction is not available a self-priming pump is necessary. A sweeper system uses eductors or flat nozzles in conjunction with Griswold Separator Systems – either Automatic Purging Units (CSS models) or Closed Solids Recovery Units (CSR models). Specifically designed for each sump or basin, this system continuously circulates and directs the fluid stream toward the suction of the pump, preventing solids from settling to the bottom of the sump/basin. Model selection is based on the recirculation flow rate (RFR) of the basin and/or size of the cooling towers in tons

Side Stream Filtration

Self-contained and packaged with its system may be installed as a side stream on the main system. An the majority of troublesome solids in the stream. For proper model selection, the desired amount of filtration will be based on the desired turn over rate.

Separator Benefits:

  • Reduces solids and fouling
  • Aids in controlling Legionella
  • Increases the effectiveness of all biocides by reducing the amount of organic loading.
  • Reduces labor costs
  • Improves performance and efficiency of heat transfer equipment
  • Reduces energy costs

Applications:

  • Chilled Water A/C Systems
  • Industrial Cooling Towers
  • Evaporative Condensers
  • Irrigation
  • Waste Water
  • Pre-Filtration
